IF YOU HAVE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT BECOMING A CATHOLIC... ...Please join us for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). RCIA is a process where men and women receive instruction in the Roman Catholic faith. As a result you will be prepared to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation. Through RCIA, you can experience first hand the faith and community of Queen of the Universe Parish. A warm welcome awaits you. We hope you will join us. We look forward to hearing from you.
RCIA is designed to be enlightening and enjoyable. We encourage your questions as the various topics are presented. We at Queen of the Universe want to make this journey with you. Members of the parish community are available to serve as "sponsors" to help you as you are introduced to the teachings of the Church and to help you understand the Roman Catholic faith. You are free to choose your own sponsor.

Each Tuesday and Wednesday nights during the school year, a group of dedicated volunteers come to the parish school to teach our parish children the Catholic Faith. Classes are consecutive and begin during the first grade. Preparation for receiving of the sacraments are in the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th year of study.
It is imperative to all Catholics raising children to teach the faith to their children both through their example and by sending them to a Catholic Religious Education Program. We welcome all children, no matter where they are on their faith journey. Please contact the PREP office for more information at 945-2704.
